Territorial Women's Memorial Rose Garden
Annie was born in Enterprise, Mississippi, in 1862, while her people were still in slavery. When she was 14 years old, she married George W. Roberts, and they came to Prescott in 1891.

George was a barber at 166 South Montezuma Street. Annie and George lived at 406 S. Montezuma.

After her husband's death, Annie was one of the first members of the First Church of Christ Scientist. She became a certified Healer-Practitioner at her home at 434 South Cortez Street and was highly respected in the community.

Annie and George had one daughter, Mrs. Manie A. Forrest. Annie's obituary read: "Mrs. Roberts made a best of friends, earning for herself a deep affection. . ."

Annie died on December 5, 1945, and was buried in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
