NELLIE GRACE MARSHALL PRINCE
Nellie Grace was born December 7, 1893, in Prescott.
In 1925, she married George Wallace Prince, a mining engineer. Nellie and George had five children: George, John, Mary, David and Roger.
In addition to raising her children, Nellie was a court recorder in Prescott and belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star, Western Star Rebekah Lodge #9 and the Business and Professional Women of Prescott organizations.
Upon George's death in 1942, she moved the family to Phoenix, where she was employed as librarian in the State Capitol Library. She returned to Prescott in 1945 and operated the Greyhound Bus facility. Later, she opened a real estate office and also served six years as Clerk of the Superior Court of Yavapai County.
Nellie moved back to Phoenix in 1971 to reside at the Beautitudes Campus of Care where she died in 1985. She was buried in the Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.
