Territorial Women's Memorial Rose Garden

Born in Prescott on January 15, 1895, Olive was the daughter of Margaretta and Albert Haisley. She graduated from Prescott High School in 1914 where she had been the captain of the basketball team. Under her graduation picture was written, "For she was just the quiet kind whose natures never vary."

She attended New Haven School of Physiotherapy in Connecticut and became a physical therapist. She was a life member of Arizona Physiotherapy Association and worked in hospitals in Ohio, Colorado, California and Montana as well as in Arizona.

In Prescott, she worked with Dr. Looney, Dr. Southworth, and both Drs. Yount. She was a volunteer worker with the Handicap Center in Prescott after retirement.

Her residence was at 319 West Leroux. Her mother, Margaretta Haisley, and her sisters, Ruth Paull and Orpha Green, are also represented in the Rose Garden.

Olive died on November 6, 1971, and was buried in Mountain View Cemetery.
