Sharlot's Timeless Treasures Museum Gift Store

The Sharlot Hall Museum gift shop, Sharlot’s Timeless Treasures, helps support heritage education at the Museum. The shop occupies the ground floor of the Bashford House, a beautiful Victorian home which was rescued from demolition and moved to the Museum grounds in 1974. The Bashford House remains the only Victorian house in Prescott that is regularly open to the public.

The gift shop started years ago as a consignment-only store in the Museum’s Sharlot Hall Building. Today in its Bashford House home it features theme rooms filled with charming merchandise that complements the Museum’s mission and the visitor’s museum experience. For instance, the General Store brims with inventory reminiscent of what Prescott territorial-era shopkeepers might have stocked – old-time-recipe hand soaps, green and black brick tea from China, children’s toys, and reproductions of period publications. Sharlot’s Pantry offers such goodies as Cactus Salsa and Cowboy Catsup, while the Victorian Parlor sparkles with etched-glass jewelry boxes and scented candles. The Old West Room has books galore, plus fancy denim jackets and gauzy, beaded skirts.

There is no sales tax on items bought at the store, and Museum members receive 10% off every store purchase. Visit our store, enjoy the selection and your discounts, and support heritage education.
